Dave Chappelle Lost His Funny

Dave Chappelle may be suffering from writer's block. Comedy Central is denying the rumors. A Page Six insider claims that Dave, who recently signed a two-year, $50 million deal, has been struggling to come up with sketches for the new upcoming third season. But Comedy Central spokesman Tony Fox says that Chappelle and writing partner Neil Brennan are hard at work this week coming up with new ideas and material for the show, which premieres May 31. It had already been pushed back several months because Dave was "stricken with walking pneumonia" back in December and got a late start on writing. "Writer's block is not the situation," said Fox. "The notion that we had a hard and firm [LOL] date of production is just not the case. If Dave needs an extension, we'll give him an extension. Our feeling all along is we'll do it when Dave is ready. We're not rushing into it for the sake of meeting some pre-existing production schedule." Man, I wish school was like that. I never got an extension on anything, except my manhood. But that's irrelevant.
