What's the recipe for lady marmalade in jail?

Kimberly Jones (a.k.a. Lil' Kim) was convicted of conspiracy and perjury for lying to a federal grand jury about two of her friends who fired guns in a shootout in front of a New York radio station (the notorious Hot 97 FM). Luckily for her, she was acquitted of an obstruction of justice charge, which carries a 10-year prison term. Unfortunately, the conspiracy charge and three perjury counts carry maximum sentences of 5 years each. Her friend Monique Dopwell was convicted of one count of conspiracy and two counts of perjury.

Don't worry Lil Kim fans. Since she's a rapper she'll most likely only get a year of probation and/or community service. I mean, it's not like she killed anybody or anything. She just lied to a federal grand jury...no biggie!
