Racist Club Owner Snubs Gabrielle Union?

She plays in Night Stalker. Ironically, I stalk her...nightly.

"Bring It On" star Gabrielle Union's birthday is coming up on October 29th and she was set to have a birthday party at Club Mood...until the owner realized she was black. In an email written by her publicist from the BWR PR firm, Holly Shakoor wrote:

"I think you should all be aware of an incident that occurred with my client Gabrielle Union and the owner of Mood. Mood was going to host her birthday party which is a week away. Once the owner found out she was African American he not only cancelled her party but he proceed to say that he 'didn't realize Gabrielle Union was black. I thought she was the white volleyball player. I don't want her kind of people in my club.' I want to make you all aware of this so you can discourage your celeb clients from going and also doing any events with him."

LOL, white volleyball player? He must be thinking of Gabrielle Reece! David Judaken, club owner, quickly denied the claims in the email by stating that everything was "completely false." He's also considering legal action against the firm, claiming that it has had a negative impact on his business. Yeah that's usually what happens when you try to turn away certain people...remember Denny's? BWR released a statement backing off the call to discourage celebrities from booking events at the club and stated "The information you have received via email was inadvertently forwarded from an interoffice email." What that means is that someone that works in the office accidentally sent the email out to the internet instead of just to people in the office. BWR is now saying the claims in the email are unofficial, but we all know it's most likely true. Why? Because we like drama, that's why.

Most likely true, try probably true. First, I've never heard anything scandolous related to Gabrielle until this and Second, I might have not been convinced until I read that the guy was South African. I've got to know a bunch of South Africans over the years and the one thing that always bothered me was how much they all seem to hate black people.

Of course this is true and it's just a sad testament to how far we think we've come and how far we actually have to go before racism ends.

I believe it's true. The guy is just trying to save face by claiming the party was canceled due to not being confirmed. her birthday is in a few days. I seriously doubt it was a "booking issue". The sad thing is he didn't even know who she was-just that she was black which is stupid IMO. She's a Hollywood actress and a cosmetics spokesperson-and very intelligent and attractive. He really blew it. This could've brought positive reviews to his newly opened club(May 2005), but once news spreads that he is a racist Apartheid promoter all the buzz is going to be negative. I hope he is forced into Bankruptcy in the future. Wanker.
